Dolphin Watching

Dolphins

Up to 11 species of dolphin have been spotted living in or passing through the seas off the coast of Oman including Spinner, Common and Bottlenose. Early mornings and evenings are the best times to see them. Although there is no guarantee of a sighting on every trip, your chances of seeing them are very high.

Whales

The Arabian sea is home to the world's only non-migratory humpback whales and many of these majestic animals frequent Omani waters. Another 10 species of whale can occasionally be spotted just a few kilometres off the coast of Muscat. They travel in smaller groups and stay under the water for a lot longer than Dolphins.
