Kiteboarding, also known as kitesurfing, is an exciting new watersport that involves using a power kite to pull you on a board (similar to a wakeboard) across the water. Steer the kite and use the pulling/lifting action of the wind, combined with the small board strapped to your feet, to effortlessly ride the waves and launch huge aerial manoeuvres!

Kitesurfing is suitable for anyone over the age 12. You don't have to be very strong or particularly fit to do this sport in Oman and kiteboarding is almost as popular with women as it is with men!

Kiteboarding lessons

Under expert instruction, beginners can learn kite-boarding relatively quickly.

Beginners course at Al Zaiba Beach near Muscat

Course consists of 6 hours instruction spread over 2-3 days in a very safe environment. Includes transfers, the most up to date kite surfing and safety equipment under the instruction of an IKO certified teacher.

Beginners course in Ras Al Hadd

6 hours instruction over 2 days in the best possible learning environment. Includes transfers, 2 nights accommodation on Bed & Breakfast basis, the most up to date kite surfing and safety equipment all under the instruction of an IKO certified teacher.

Learn to S.U.P Kite - 4 hour course near Muscat

Fly a very simple 2 lined kite and be pulled through the water on a large stand-up paddle board. Perfect sport for all the family. Includes the most up-to-date kiting and safety equipment under the instruction of an IKO certified teacher.
