Dive Centre
The nearby Sawadi Isles and unique Daymaniyat Islands are ideal for snorkelling and diving. Al Sawadi Beach Resort is the closest starting point to the Daymaniyat Islands, the jewels in the crown of diving in Oman. These tiny islands lie about 15 km off the Batinah Coast and are Oman's only Marine National Nature Reserve. There are more rare fish who tend to be larger and more numerous than along mainland shores of the Gulf of Oman and coral reef development is more substantial.The centre offers dive excursions to 17 distinctively different dive sites.
The Al Sawadi dive centre holds equipment for 20 divers and 15 snorkellers. The class room holds space for 4 students and has a PADI library of the latest videos and DVDs.
