Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay is the first property operated by Six Senses Resorts and Spas to be opened in the Middle East.
The site of the Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay is a secluded fishing village, with villa accommodations and a private marina - located between the mountains and the beach.
Guests have the choice of three arrival experiences:
- A scenic fifteen-minute speed boat trip;
- a winding drive down from the hill top overlooking the bay;
- or travel as a companion passenger with the Six Senses Hideaway's professional paraglider.
Location
Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay is located on a headland on the northern Musandam Peninsula in the Sultanate of Oman. It is set between dramatic mountains to the rear and a broad sandy beach in front.
The Musandam Peninsula is an exclave region of the Sultanate of Oman, separated from the rest of the country by the United Arab Emirates.
Zighy Bay is located 120 kilometres, or less than a two-hour drive from Dubai International Airport, which is the gateway city to the Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay.
Accommodation
Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay has 82 uniquely designed villas. The traditional Arabic-style summer houses offer a spacious, personal environment with rustic chic décor, and bathrooms extending to an outdoor shower. Every villa has its own private, infinity-edged swimming pool.
The butler service is designed to create a unique concept for villa guests, where the Six Senses Hideaway experience is exemplified from arrival to departure.

Pool Villa
One bedroom villa with access to the beach (within approx. 100 metres).
Pool Villa Suite
One bedroom villa with access to the beach, separate bedroom and living room.
Deluxe Pool Villas
One bedroom villa with access to the beach. The bedroom area is on the ground floor and the first floor, featuring a balcony, is the living area.
Zighy Pool Villas
Two bedroom villa with living room and access to the beach. The first bedroom and separate living area is on the ground floor and the second bedroom and verandah are on the top floor.
Villas featuring a private spa treatment room are also available for each of the above room categories at additional cost. A beachfront villa can also be guaranteed by an additional charge.
Pool villas, Pool Villa Suites and Deluxe Pool Villas have a maximum occupancy of 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults. The Zighy Pool Villas can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children or a maximum of 5 adults. A baby cot can be provided on a complimentary basis.

Zighy's Deli
Open air Deli - the place to be for a great light lunch, a tea or a flavoured drink through the day. Sandwiches and Burgers get a new meaning through the very delectable selection of Paninis, sandwiches, Focaccias and more.
Chill-Mood Bar
Offers a relaxed summer house experience of ambience and music with the perfect amount of vibrancy.
In Villa Dining
This experience is available 24 hours, serving a variety of home-cooked style dishes as well as light snacks. Stir the romance with a champagne breakfast. Enjoy a private barbecue dinner beneath the stars on your private pool deck. If you think of it, we most likely can provide the experience.

The spa focuses on holistic wellness and rejuvenation programmes to rejuvenate and revitalize the senses.
