Al Husn
The six star Al Husn hotel stands alone as a mystical retreat with a focus on luxury. Some areas of the hotel, such as the infinity swimming pool, are reserved for the exclusive use of guests staying at the Al Husn.

CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La
Embracing Chinese and Himalayan healing traditions, therapies and rituals, CHI is a self-contained village with 12 treatment villas set amidst beautiful gardens. The spa is a tribute to tranquililty, sanctuary and the Arabian quest for ultimate beauty.
Guests can select from an extensive menu of treatments, specialised massages and facial therapies. CHI features a Turkish bath, an ice fountain, steam rooms, a Rasul (Arabian cleansing ritual through application of mud and steam detoxification) and Jacuzzi.

Turtle Nesting
Visit the resident Turtle Ranger to learn more about the Hawksbill turtles that frequent the hotel beaches. From January to June, you may have the special opportunity to observe Greenback and Hawksbill sea turtles nesting, laying eggs or hatching.
Omani Heritage Village
Venturing inside, the first of its kind in Oman, you will find a small museum and a 1000-seat amphitheatre. Guests can watch the forging of khanjars (Omani daggers), henna painting, bread making and weaving. There is even an opportunity to experience a close encounter with Arabian horses and camels.
